This game is so good.. I believe I was finally at the end of this game, was so happy. I however, accidently clicked ont he pentagram, my items disappeared and the game froze, no way could I retrieve the game and had to finally shut it down through my task manager. Went back into it and no way am I going back to my last save, this is ridiculous! If I didn't dislike the game before, I think I hate it now. What a waste of money and time! I do not want to go back through all of that again. I did get a message that something was missing and I needed to reinstall the game. Damn, you must be kidding, this "old" gal does not have the patients or desire to go through the game again!Loved the first Barrow Hill, this one, not so much, a real pain in the butt!. Played a little bit, but saving for more autumnal evenings. As a fan of Barrow Hill, I knew what I was in for.. I have to admit, I was pleasently surprised by this game. The atmosphere is amazing, the puzzles are quite difficult, and the overall experiance is very good.Can't reccomend it enough to those that love a good atmospheric point and click adventure.By god though, those voice actors need shooting.. I haven't played the first Barrow Hill game, and it seems like you need to have in order to understand this one. Throughout the game, I was asking, who are these people, who am I supposed to be, what are they talking about, what is going on? The area the game takes place in is small, and they give you a rudimentary map, but navigation is still a nightmare. I never managed to make it from one place to another through the woods maze without running around in circles for a while. The gameplay is repeatedly interrupted by long, unskippable, very cheesy FMV scenes and recordings. I got sick of it pretty soon and just finished it from a walkthrough.
