It could have more content and should allow you to go beyond level 15 and explore many more maps.You are guided throughout the game to go in almost only one durection, without really choosing your path.If you get it on a sale, I recommend it.. Short but fun. About 5 hours. 2 other games, got all 3 cheap. Worth it.. Just as fun as the two before it. A bit grindy and repetitive, but still fun to play.. As a fan of games like this, I personally found it a little too slow and simple for my tastes. You're very limited with the troop build up to where I am (about 3 hours in), which I feel limits me deciding a play style I like. The skill tree is very basic and doesen't seen to play a huge part in the early game. May be worth picking up for cheap if you just like casual games, but I couldn't reccomend this for strategy gamers who want something a little more in depth and fast paced. Repetitive and linear gameplay.. I really enjoyed the first braveland, I skipped the second one after hearing it sucked and then I decided to give the third one a chance seeing how it got positive receiption here on Steam.You should take this recommendation as somewhere between a half recommend and a full recommend.So here we go for the pros and cons.+ Pro+ The new pirate units you get all have different abilities from the units from the first game, giving the combat a new coat of paint from the first game.+ Open world. Instead of having to play battles in a certain order you're more open to choose a different battle instead.+ Skill tree, allowing you to customize your character more after each level up.+ A bunch of rage abilities, allowing for different strategy as the game goes along.- Con- Some of the battles on "hard mode" are way too difficult. I had to restart the first hard mode playthrough I did, due to not making optimal choices and getting screwed by randomness.- Braveland faces the exact same issue the king's bounty series faces, which is too many battles for the later entries in the series. So this game ends up overstaying it's welcome. - The game has a lot of random elements to it. Critical hits are back, when you search a location you can get nothing or loot and stores stock random equipments.Overall it's an okay 15 hour experience that would've been a lot more fun if it was a couple hours shorter.So would I recommend it? If the game is on sale and you've already played the first braveland, and the king's bounty series, then sure. If you haven't played those, then just go play those instead!. Casual and entertaining indeed. I really enjoyed this Braveland game. It's the third in the series and the longest of the three. If you've played the previous ones, it's very similar so you know exactly what you're getting. If you haven't, I'd recommend checking those ones out too!
